FORTUNE AND GLORY

You’re a young professor teaching archaeology at an upstate university between two Great Wars. What you lack in teaching experience, you make up for with your dashing good looks and social graces. The students idolize you as a teacher, but the other professors despise you for your youth and tenure. They hate that you’re gone from your position for most of the school year, yet the dean and school board shower you with praise and accolades. What they don’t take into consideration are the scrapes and bruises you seem to forever sport across your chiseled features; or the infinite luggage tags from foreign and far away places you have on your battered briefcase.
